Kagetora never gave up in his dreams of becoming Brave Gate champion, even during his long injury last year. He is looking forward to taking on all of the young generation, but he warned them that now that he is champion he won’t be giving up the title so easily.

Takagi blamed the loss on the referee, but admitted he was happy. The Triangle Gate belts are cursed. Tragedy and injury waits for the team that holds them. Doi better hope that bad luck doesn’t follow him into the cage. He should probably make sure nothing bad happens in his private life either. In any case, the show was over. He demanded all the redneck fans go home.
Doi said there was an entire title belt ceremony left to have, so Verserk are the ones that should go home. The new champions celebrated this win as a new starting point. Memorial Gate is their Memorial Day. Shimizu said together they would create a new era. Ben-K had no plans on slowing down, because he is Ben-K. Doi had someone else he wanted to talk to. He called out Masato Yoshino.
Doi showed him the newly won title belts. Yoshino apologized for keeping him waiting, and congratulated the new champions. They shared some banter. Yoshino revealed that the numbness in his right arm is now gone, and his recovery has reached the strength building phase. He was still going to need some time before he can return to the ring, so he asked Doi to be patient for a little while longer.
Doi promised him he would be waiting for him. Since he was in such a good mood, he decided to have a special autograph session for the fans.

All the participants in the Brave Gate tournament had a chance to address the fans at the top of the show.
Kagetora wants this belt more than anything, and he promised to come out of the tournament as champion.
Draztick Boy said he would do his best.
Yamamura admitted that there probably weren’t that many fans who thought he had a chance. But he was going to show everyone what he was made of. He is fighting Kzy in the first round. Kzy has been on fire all year, but Yamamura has been even hotter. Only one of them would keep their momentum going, and it would be him.
Kzy told Yamamura that while he was on a roll, he couldn’t surpass Kzy just yet. He promised to win and make the Brave Gate scene interesting again.
Tominaga was irritated at having to fight a ladyboy.
Maria wanted to return to her form from last year, and regain the Brave Gate.
Lindaman said everyone was talking about their momentum and enthusiasm. The reality is, that means nothing in a tournament like this. You lose and you are out. He was going to win and bring value back to the Brave Gate.
The Brave Gate belt belongs to Eita. He wasn’t going to let someone like Lindaman walk off with it. He is going to break his arm, leave him laying, and get back what is his.

Dragon Fly is a wrestler from Mexico that is in Japan for a tryout. Due to his arrival, the opener was changed to a 6 man tag team match.

YAMATO celebrated his win. As most in attendance know by now, he defeated Cyber Kong in Osaka to retain his Dream Gate title. He beat Shingo Takagi to win last July at Kobe World. He has also beaten Akira Tozawa, Naruki Doi, & BxB Hulk for a total of 4 defenses. There is a lot of pressure and expectations on the Dream Gate champion. He has accepted them and fought off all his challengers. But what about his challengers? Do they just accept their loss and move on?
Naturally, Takagi was irritated. Sure, he lost at World. He could take the title back any time he wanted.
Hulk wasn’t ready to give up after just one loss.
Kong said he removed his mask and showed who he really was to everyone to prove how ready he was to be champion. He lost on a fluke at the end, and he wanted another shot.
Doi figured since Takagi & Hulk had their own issues to settle, and since Kong was just beaten (and injured in the process) that he should jump the front of the line.
YAMATO revealed his intentions. Right here in Nagoya on May 5th, will be Dead or Alive. Heaven or hell. He was going to risk his Dream Gate title in the annual cage match. Assuming the others were willing to risk something.
Takagi was intrigued, but warned YAMATO that he was the one with the most to lose. Sure. He would do it, and take YAMATOs’ belt and his pride.
Kong wouldn’t make the same mistakes he made in Osaka. He was still unstoppable. He accepted the offer.
Doi accepted. He reminded YAMATO that there were no allies inside the cage. Just enemies that would be coming for his Dream Gate title.
Hulk said that even though they were Tribe Vanguard stablemates, the title is a totally separate matter. He was going to take the title (and beat up that asshole Shingo Takagi in the process).

YAMATO closed the show. The match was set. He would risk his title belt, because that is what pro wrestling and Dragon Gate were about. He vowed to escape the cage as champion.

*The winning team will earn the right to recruit away a member of the losing team

Kzy said that even though he failed in his attempts on the Twin Gate, he wasn’t giving up. He is in the best shape of his life and will make create his own opportunities. As the roster grows, getting a favorable & regular position gets increasingly difficult. He can see youngsters who want their chance to shine and create their own opportunities. Wrestlers like Takashima, Yoshioka, & Ben-K. Shouldn’t they be given more chances? Surely the fans want to see what they are capable of. That brings him to the Jimmyz. They’ve been together a long time. Maybe they have gotten a bit too comfortable and complacent in their roles. He used to think that as long as he had a cushy spot, that was enough. Not anymore. Dragon Gate has no place for lazy fighters. He was making it his goal to create excitement and motivation. He invited Takashima and Yoshioka into the ring. Yoshioka said he was hungry for more matches. Takashima doesn’t care who he fights, he just wants to compete more. Kzy could feel their drive. Could the Jimmyz feel it all the way over in their cozy little corner? Saito took offense. The Jimmyz were longtime Triangle Gate champions until last week. Before they could get a rematch with Verserk, Doi & his team jumped in and took the next title match. They were pissed off that they got beaten and had no chance to respond. He was going to respond now. Whoever wins that Triangle Gate match, whether it be Verserk or the challenger team, they would have to face the Jimmyz team of Horiguchi, Susumu, & Saito at the April Korakuen. Kagetora heard the appeal from Yoshioka & Takashima. There were 3 Jimmyz left. If Kzy and his young boys wanted to fight, they could have it. Kanda was looking forward to beating them up. K-ness said he wasn’t finish yet, and he would prove that in their match. GM Yagi made both matches official for next month.

Yamamura and T-Hawk continued brawling after the main event, until they were separated.
By winning the main event, Over Generation earned the right to recruit a member of Verserk. The great Verserk crusher Cyber Kong was himself crushed, so he wasn’t here. That is fine because they didn’t want him anyway. CIMA ran through the options. Shingo Takagi. It was probably time for him to change that stupid hairstyle and get some new ring gear. But having him around wouldn’t be fun. He passed on him. T-Hawk. He is new generation so he would fit that requirement. But, given his relationship with Yamamura it probably wouldn’t be a good idea. “brother” YASSHI. In all these years, CIMA has never teamed together with him. He likes it that way, and he is sure YASSHI feels the same. No one wants to see it, either. Pass. That leaves…..Mondai Ryu. Yes, really. They were selecting Mondai Ryu. He refused. He wasn’t in the match. This had nothing to do with him. He wasn’t going to join their stupid unit. CIMA noted that he was smiling. If this was such a bad thing, why was he so happy looking? Mondai Ryu continued to refuse. CIMA told him he was a reasonable man, so he would give him two choices. He was free to choose whichever path he wanted. Path A is Over Generation. Path B, he can join Fujii Heya at the lowest rank! Mondai Ryu was appalled at the idea of having to team with an old fucker like Don Fujii so he picked Over Generation.
T-Hawk wasn’t sad to hiss him go. Him being gone is probably an overall gain for Verserk. Enjoy your new home. On to more important business. YAMAMURA! If he wants to pick a fight with him, bring it on. T-Hawk lives to punish punks like him. They can settle this and go 1 on 1. Yamamura said he sure talked a lot for someone who just got beaten. T-Hawk, Takagi, Verserk. Bunch of bitchy little girls.
They agreed to a singles match for the April Korakuen.
Next was El Lindaman. He told Yamamura he would get a firsthand lesson in the law of the jungle next month from T-Hawk. He wanted CIMA. CIMA is a horrible role model, if a punk like Yamamura is an example of his leadership. He left OG because of CIMA. Punch left OG. They were flourishing now in Verserk. So, CK-1 are Twin Gate champions. What does that mean for Osaka06? Punch told Gamma to get in the ring and fight. CIMA admitted he maybe did a bad job with those two. He reminded them that it was them who injured Gamma in the first place with their weapon use. He had surgery and was still rehabbing. If they wanted a fight they take their pick from the uncrowned Brave Gate champion Eita or Dragon Kid. Punch continued to insist on Gamma until he got in the ring and struck Punch with his cane. His left arm hasn’t fully healed from the surgery, but his right arm is fine. That is all he would need to take out Punch and Lindaman.
Osaka06 vs. Lindaman & Punch was set for the April Korakuen.

Doi had gotten tired of standing around during this exceedingly long ordeal and was making his way backstage when CIMA called him back to the ring. He lead a Na-Ru-Ki! chant. Doi complained about how long all this was. He had been standing around forever! CIMA thanked him for helping out OG in their time of need. All the members bowed to him. Doi was embarrassed by this. Why did he still need to be here? Mondai Ryu? What?! None of his business anyway. After all, he was waiting for Yoshino! Waiting faithfully for Yoshino! He also has an important title match coming up in Wakayama. Next time the Korakuen Hall fans saw him, he would be Triangle Gate champion. CIMA asked about Kotoka. Doi blew that off. CIMA reminded him that Kotoka was probably watching this. Doi knows he is watching, but…that whole DoiYoshiKotoka thing. Nah. DoiYoshi is DoiYoshi. No room for Kotoka. They exchanged further pleasantries and Doi left.

CIMA called Mondai Ryu into the ring. He wanted to explain why they selected him. CIMA admitted that he has probably kicked the crap out of him more than anyone. He couldn’t help it. It is so much fun. That it was Mondai Ryu is famous for. But there was one incident about a year ago where CIMA kicked the crap out of him that stands out more than any other, right? That incident is why Mondai Ryu was drafted to Over Generation. 8 or 9 years ago, CIMA had a hernia in his neck. He couldn’t move his left side. CIMA then revealed that Mondai Ryu has a similar neck injury. Dragon Gate is a fantasy based on reality. Mondai Ryu’s neck injury is reality. However, he is Mondai Ryu. Having him in the ring was necessary. CIMA asked him to explain his situation.
Last year, he was dropped on his head. He suffered the same injury CIMA had, and he wasn’t able to move. The doctor told him he couldn’t wrestle anymore. He considered surgery and other options that could end his career. He chose to work through it, but the condition hasn’t improved. He gets numbness in his arms and he has lost a lot of strength. He was ready to retire. Then, a few days ago, his sister had a baby. The problem child of the Kimata Family was now an uncle to the first grandchild of the Kimata Family. Whenever he looks at the newborn, it gives him the resolve to return to the ring. Maybe, somewhere, there was someone who looks forward to his matches. Even if there is only that one fan, for their sake he won’t give up. It may take awhile, so don’t forget Mondai Ryu while his neck heals and he prepares for his comeback.
CIMA told him that his niece and the Mondai Ryu fans around the world would be waiting for his comeback. When he does, Over Generation will also be waiting for him. If he needs help or advice, any of them will be there to help. It will be hard. If he needs to start with one of those pink dumbbells they sell for women then so be it. But for the sake of his niece and making her into a Mondai Ryu fan he can do it. He asked him to give the closing speech.
Mondai Ryu was taken aback. He has never done this and has no idea how to do it. He has one thing to see those in attendance, and those watching live around the world. He vowed to recover from this setback and return to the ring. He was a shitty wrestler, but he was an unforgettable wrestler. He will see everyone soon. Jaaaaaaaaaaaaa naaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

6. Open the Dream Gate Championship Match: YAMATO (19:28 Choke Sleeper) Cyber Kong
*4th Defense

The contract signing for the Dream Gate title match was held at the start of the show. Kong said that his mighty Pineapple Bomber already injured his throat once. He will do way worse than that today, and there will be no hope for recovery. The next Dream Gate champion will be Cyber Kong.
YAMATO apologized if his voice was difficult to hear. Two weeks ago, he began feeling the feats of a sore throat. After taking a damage to the area from Kong, he was diagnosed with a deformity in the area. He has not competed in two weeks. His throat was still worse for wear, but the rest of him was in peak condition. Kong will feel the wrath of the Dream Gate champion today.

Susumu talked before the opener. The Jimmyz lost yesterday. They weren’t going to give up though. They will just move forward and seize the next opportunity. They would start by exacting some revenge on Verserk today.

After the match, Lindaman ran down the Osaka fans. He wasn’t even trying today. He talked about the upcoming Brave Gate tournament. He was going to smash Eita to bits on his way to becoming the new champion.

Eita reviewed the events from yesterday that led to him being stripped of the Brave Gate. He wasn’t going to let Lindaman and Tominaga go unpunished. In his tournament match with Lindaman he was going to break his arm. Not just beat him, but break his arm.

Doi thanked Ben-K for doing most of the heavy hitting today, and asked him to do it again at Memorial Gate when they go for the Triangle Gate. He saw Yoshino lurking around backstage, so he called him out. He confronted him about his comment yesterday regarding Doi waiting for him. He was doing nothing of the sort! Yoshino told him to not be embarrassed. No need to lie. Shimizu has sent him the LINE chats where Doi said he was waiting for Yoshino. Doi became flustered after Shimizu confirmed the conversation. Yeah, he said it, but only because Yoshino asked him to wait for him! They bantered a bit more before Doi finally admitted he wanted Yoshino to recover and he was waiting for him. Yoshino thanked him and the show began to proceed to intermission when Kotokas’ music hit. He told Doi & Yoshino that he was working hard to rehab from his knee surgery so he could take his spot by their side. Doi bluntly told him no one called him out here. Kotoka said that DoiYoshiKoto sounded like a good team. Doi again wanted nothing to him. He wished him luck with his recovery, but when Doi & Big & Ben take the Triangle Gate there will be no place for Kotoka.

CIMA put over Kzy for his marked improvement over the last few months. To be honest, he didn’t think much of him at this time last year, but he has become a totally different wrestler. He is now one of the most important members of the roster. Hulk, of course, has been important from the start. CK-1 were the winners today, but North Tribe had lots of time left. They were welcome to come after the Twin Gate any time.
Kzy thanked CK-1 for the two title opportunities. He was just getting started. He was inspired by Akira Tozawa risking everything to achieve his dreams. He was going to go after his with the same resolve.

Kong voluntarily removed his mask in the later stages of the match, and also used black mist.

YAMATO closed the show. He is YAMATO of Dragon Gate. He was going to leave his mark on the pro wrestling industry. He was going to be the man to lead Dragon Gate into a golden age. He thanked the Osaka faithful for coming out over the last two days. He promised to succeed through potential defenses in Wakayama and Aichi, and return to Osaka as champion.

*Verserk become the 58th champion team

Kong attacked YAMATO after his match, giving him a chop to the throat. YAMATO was injured by a Pineapple Bomber. He can’t even talk right now. How is he going to defend his title tomorrow? Getting injured before a scheduled title match is so unprofessional. After heir match tomorrow, Cyber Kong will be the new champion. But that is tomorrow. He has different title to win today. He called the Jimmyz out, but then asked them why they were there when they came out. Saito told him his dreams of becoming a double champion were going to end tonight.

CK-1 and North Tribe had some banter in advance of their title match tomorrow.

Yoshino made a quick appearance before intermission. This was his hometown so he had to at least show his face. He is working hard on his recovery. He can’t make any promises but he was going to try his best to be back in the ring in time for the next time they come to Osaka. He asked the fans to wait patiently for him, like Naruki Doi is.

Tominaga and Mondai Ryu interfered to save El Lindaman from defeat, until Yamamura got involved. Things spin out of control and Referee Yagi had to get physically involved. The match was ruled a no contest. Kzy, Kagetora & Maria also came out and got involved. Lindaman said he did nothing wrong and it was all Yamamura’s fault. Everyone took turns laying out challenges. Yamamura blamed Lindaman. Everyone in Osaka was looking forward to an exciting Brave Gate title match and this is the kind of match Lindaman has? Yamamura should have gotten the shot. Maria blamed both of them. Eita beat her for the title, only to have performances like this? No one wants to see matches like this. Kzy said that both himself and Maria are former champions so they know what Brave Gate matches are all about. This isn’t it. No one wants to see this. Kagetora talked about failing in 9 attempts on the Brave Gate. He wants to become champion and restore it to the proper prestige. More chaos ensued until Yagi laid down the law. He decided to strip Eita of the title and hold a tournament with the 7 competitors in the ring. Eita and Lindaman will meet in the first round. Yamamura, Kzy, Maria, Kagetora, Tominaga, & one other to be named later will round out the field. Yamamura was determined to make an impact this year, and this is a great way to start. He warned Eita that there were no alliances here. If they end up meeting in the tournament, Yamamura would take him out. Maria has been waiting for this chance to come. She can once again become Brave Gate champion♡! Kzy apologized to the fans for the entire situation, but admitted he was happy with the opportunity it is giving him. He wants to regain the Brave Gate and raise its value. Kagetora said that no one understands the Brave Gate like him. He views this chance as a gift from god. He isn’t going to blow it. Lindaman told Kagetora he can talk all he wants, but in the end all he would be is a 10 time loser. As for Eita, he has had him beaten twice. Next time, it will result in a win. The next Brave Gate champion will be El Lindaman. Eita was amused at his confidence. Everyone here knows that Lindaman was a beaten man today. That title belt is his, and if he has to go through this tournament to reclaim what is his, so be it. Lindaman would be the first victim.

Doi, Ben-K, & Shimizu came out immediately after the main event. Doi tried to argued that due to all the cheating the result should be thrown out, and a win by disqualification given to the Jimmyz. T-Hawk told him to bugger off. The result is final. Doi told him that he HAS to know why he is here with Ben-K and Shimizu. They will be the first challengers to Verserk! T-Hawk was amused. It was probably 100 years too early for those two greenhorn musclehead idiots to be challenging for titles. Verserk refused. Doi accused them of being cowards, afraid that Big Ben were stronger than them. Naturally, this enraged Cyber Kong who said there was no one stronger than him. He accepted the challenge and it was made for 3/20 at Memorial Gate in Wakayama.

Verserk attacked Doi during his match, until the Jimmyz made the save. T-Hawk told them to mind their business. Horiguchi told him since Verserk was challenging them for their Triangle Gate titles, this was their business. They suggested Doi be added to their main event team tonight to make it a 10 man tag. Tominaga was added to the Verserk side and the match was set.

Lindaman told Eita his time as Brave Gate champion was up. He was at peak performance and is unstoppable. T-Hawk estimated about 5 minutes tops would be necessary to finish off the Jimmyz and take the Triangle Gate. Kong promised to return to Kyoto as a double champion.

The Jimmyz closed the show trying to recruit Doi. They suggested names like Jimmy Doi, Jimmy Doi-chan, and Jimmy Second Naruki. Doi refused.
