Kagetora was ready to make his first Brave Gate title defense. Since Yamamura now has two wins over him, he was challenging him. Yamamura was hesitant but eventually accepted. He told Kagetora that even though he has finally become champion after 10 tries, his reign would end with 0 defenses. They agreed to have the match at Dead or Alive. Kagetora went for a handshake but Yamamura refused. Their fight has already begun. Yamamura vowed to take he title.

Tominaga interfered heavily in the late stages of match four. Afterwards he ran down Shimizu & Ben-K. No one wanted to see them wrestle. They wanted to see Punch. He called out anyone. This brought out Masato Yoshino, in full ring gear. If Punch wanted a fight, Maybe he would get one. Even though he announced he was coming back, he never said when. Well. He was here and dressed to wrestle. This was as good a time as any. Punch told him he was going to send him back to the hospital. The match was hastily started.
After making short work of Punch, Yoshino talked about he decided to show up here today. He has been through three months of hell. Even though this was more of warm up than a real comeback, he had made it a goal to be able to wrestle here today in Hakata. He addressed Shimizu & Ben-K. They are Triangle Gate champions with Doi, who was not out here right now. He was surely watching, though. They understand each other better than anyone, after all. Shimizu confirmed that Doi was in fact very fond of Yoshino. Yoshino told the fans to enjoy the rest of the show, cheer for Doi in he main event, and to look forward to seeing Masato Yoshino after he make sure his full comeback. After the main event, he shared some banter with Doi. DoiYoshi, along with Shimizu & Ben-K reaffirmed their intentions of starting a new unit together.

Lindaman & T-Hawk attacked after the semifinal. They had already announced their intentions of coming for the Twin Gate. Now that these two broken down pieces of trash were out of the way, CK-1 was being put on notice. Their reign would come to an end in Aichi. CIMA noted that they’ve made three title defenses here in Hakata. This is a special place for CK-1, so coming back here in June without the titles was simply not an option.

T-Hawk challenged the winner of the 4/23 Twin Gate match to defend against himself & El Lindaman at Dead or Alive.

Mochizuki had some harsh words for Shimizu & Ben-K. They were being carried by Doi right now, and if they don’t step their game up they won’t be Triangle Gate champions for very long. He told them to get their act together.

More friendly fire happened between Takagi and Kong, costing Verserk another match. They argued over whether it was an accident. Takagi had an idea. Doi was injured and cursed by the Triangle Gate. They should just gang up on him and make sure he ends up losing his hair. Kong was intrigued, but he wanted the Dream Gate title. What was more important to him? His mask or the title? He needed to think about that.
Hulk was not intrigued. He wants to see Takagi bald. But. He also wants to be Dream Gate champion even if it would leave YAMATO without his hair.
What they all did agree on was no one knows what will happen inside that cage, but they were all prepared to face the challenge.

Due to the lower back injury he suffered over the weekend, Naruki Doi was pulled from the card.

Mondai Ryu accompanied Osaka06 to the ring. He was quickly attacked and had his mask torn off. He was then sent backstage for the majority of the match. He returned with a new color mask and hit Tominaga with powder, allowing Gamma to score the pin. CIMA led a Mondai Ryu chant, and told him to keep up his rehab. He also congratulated Gamma on returning from his surgery in fine fashion. He poked fun at his sunburn. Gamma admitted he slacked on tanning while rehabbing, so he hurriedly went to the salon three days in a row. Gamma then announced he was ready to return to full time competition.

T-Hawk told Yamamura any time he wants another ass kicking, he can come get one. That also goes for Ben-K and Shimizu.

Takagi and Kong once again could not stay on the same page, leading to them hitting each other a few times. Kong was still more than happy to praise Takagi for his comeback win, but Takagi wasn’t moved by the gesture. What was Kong trying to pull today? Kong reminded him that he did the same thing in Kobe. Takagi blew that off. That was all Tominagas’ fault. Today was all Kong! In fact, he thinks he did it on purpose! Kong said maybe it was. But maybe Takagi did it on purpose back in Kobe. That makes them even. They turned their attention to YAMATO. He was the one with the most to lose in Aichi. YAMATO told Takagi the old Japanese saying 能ある鷹は爪を隠す. Nou aru taka ha tsume wo kakasu. Taka no Tsume being the name of the move Takagi won with. It means that someone should always keep their best tricks secret for when it matters. YAMATO won’t fall for this one again. He also said that this quarrel between stablemates is what happens when you are faced with being locked inside a cage together.Hulk got involved, and everyone promised to be the one that survives the cage. YAMATO began to close out the show before realizing there was another match left. He awkwardly did his catchphrase, even though he got pinned.

Doi celebrated the successful title match. It was a difficult fight from start to finish, but they pulled it off. His partners were still in their early 20’s, and he is forever young. He promised to return to Tokyo with the Dream Gate title belt as a double champion. The show was about to wrap up but Speed Star hit, bringing out Masato Yoshino. Doi was legitimately shocked to see him. Why was he here? Yoshino received another LINE message from Shimizu that said “Doi wants to see you really bad”, so he figured he would oblige. Doi wondered why Shimizu was having such conversations with an important title match looming. They bantered a bit before Yoshino got to the real reason he was here. To announce he would be returning to the ring at the 5/9 Korakuen Hall show! Along with Shimizu & Ben-K they also announced the formation of a new unit. Details will come soon.

Due to injury, it was announced at the start of the show that CIMA would be retiring today.

April fools.

After pinning the Brave Gate champion, Yamamura announced that he….did not want a title shot. Not yet, anyway. He was going to continue to hone his skills and once he feels brave enough he will make that challenge. Kagetora told him that he hopes he is still champion when that day comes, because he is looking forward to seeing Yamamura reach his potential.
CIMA turned his attention to K-ness & Kanda. CIMA wasn’t inclined to give away title matches to 3rd stringers, but if they want it so bad they can try and take the Twin Gate from them. Today was all jokes and fun, but after the match K-ness & Kanda may have to announce their retirement for real. K-ness told them they had no idea what he & Kanda were truly capable of. They would get an up close and personal view of it.

Takagi accidentally struck Kong, causing him to be pinned. Kong had a sneaking suspicion that it was not an accident at all. They are going to be in a steel cage together on May 5th. Takagi should take care to not let this happen again between now and then.

Things also continued to heat up between YAMATO and Hulk. Hulk tried to keep things calm. Even though things are going to get nasty in the cage, they were teammates until then. YAMATO refused a handshake. As long as he has the title, he can carry Dragon Gate to new heights. Whether his opponents was Hulk or someone else, he would be the one that walks away as champion.
