YAMATO⭕️, KAI, Naruki Doi, Kaito Ishida vs. Eita, Big R Shimizu, Takashi Yoshida, Yasushi Kanda❌
(2:28 Frankensteiner of the Almighty)

R・E・D continued to attack Ben-K after the 3rd match until Shun Skywalker made the save. As always, R・E・D acted like cowards and couldn’t do anything on their own. With Ben winning KOG, he wasn’t planning on falling behind. He called Yoshida to the ring for their scheduled match. After that one, R・E・D went after Shun and Ben made the save. Since being kicked out of R・E・D he has been on his own. Shun has also been on his own since he left Mochizuki Dojo. He asked Shun if he wanted to team up. Not particularly as a unit, but as a duo on their way to the top. Shun liked the idea, but he had one other thing to say. Ben winning KOG and challenging for the Dream Gate at Kobe World is hard for him swallow. He vows to surpass him some day. Ben agreed with that sentiment. He wasn’t going to let Shun pass him. They will aim for the top, together!

R・E・D interfered in the last stages of the main event and forced the no contest. Eita wondered who booked such a boring match? The fans were clearly bored to death. Ishida isn’t main event material. He should never be allowed to challenge for the Twin Gate again! His business is with YAMATO & KAI. Their real next challengers were here. Eita & Big R Shimizu. YAMATO wondered if they really thought it would be that easy for them after coming in and ruining such an important match. Doi was furious. MaxiMuM was THIS close to taking the titles. The champion and challenger teams were in agreement over not accepting this finish. They wanted a restart or a rematch. Shimizu told them it didn’t matter whether they accepted it or not. The match was over. Finished. It was time for them to get out of the ring for all these people to go home.

R・E・D tried to leave but they were blocked by Yoshino. Doi proposed an impromptu 4 on 4 match. Kanda, angry at life in general and because he didn’t have a match yet, accepted. The match ended fairly quickly, with Kanda getting pinned.

There was no reason for R・E・D to still be out here, so Doi initiated a chant to get rid of them. Doi asked for another shot at YAMATO & KAI. The champions felt the same way and agreed to give them one. This rematch was later set up as a 3 way including Eita & Shimizu.

YAMATO closed the show with a speech celebrating their 1st Twin Gate defense which was quickly confirmed to not be credited as a defense due to the no contest.

Ben-K⭕️ vs. Eita❌
(20:13 Spear)

Doi talked about his Twin Gate challenge tomorrow with Ishida. Ishida has never held a championship. Tomorrow, he will go from being a boy to a man.

The Strong Machines attacked the Triangle Gate champion team after their match. They once again gestured that they wanted the titles but didn’t say anything.

Ben told Eita that the KOG win was just the start. He hasn’t forgotten what R・E・D did to him. He will pay back each and every one of them. As KOG winner, that left him with one thing to do. He called out PAC and challenged him to a Dream Gate title match. PAC berated him for being stupid and demanded he address his champion in English if he wanted to talk to him. He did eventually accept the challenge and the match was set for July 21st in Kobe World Kinen Hall.

Ben closed the show by saying there was no one that can stop him now. He won’t run or hide from anyone because no one can beat him. He will return to Hakata as the undisputed strongest in Dragon Gate. Hear his call. He is Ben-K!

8. King of Gate 2019 Semifinals
Ben-K⭕️ vs. Kzy❌
(17:53 Ben-K Bomb)

A 10 count ceremony was held for the late Atsushi Aoki at the start of the show.

The pairings were decided for the King of Gate semifinals. Eita vs. KAI and Ben-K vs. the winner of Kzy/KAZMA were the matches drawn. Eita said that no one wanted to see a lowly assistant win KOG. Everyone came to see him win and he would live up to that expectation.

KAZMA had been constantly calling Kzy an easy mark. How does it feel to lose to E-Z Kzy? It’s karma. As for his other match today, his opponent is Ben-K. Last year they were in the same block and went to a draw. Well. There are no time limits stopping them today.

The Strong Machines again made gestures indicating that wanted the Triangle Gate titles.

Mochizuki & Okuda brawled until things got out of control, forcing a no contest. Mochizuki asked him why he came to Dragon Gate. Is he here to make a name for himself or is he just here to cause trouble? Okuda told him he was here to become a top player, but he also couldn’t stand old bastards like him. He can’t help but want to beat the shit out of them. Mochizuki admitted that he was big and tough, but he clearly doesn’t know a thing about the intricacies of pro wrestling. Maybe they should wrestle 1 on 1 next month so Mochizuki can teach him those intricacies. Okuda was properly fired up and accepted. Mochizuki warned him that if he thinks punches and kicks are all he needs to make it in pro wrestling he is in for a rude awakening.

Takuya Sugawara hit the ring and attacked Saito after his match. He came back to Dragon Gate this year for one reason. To have a match with Anthony W. Mori. If he can’t have that, then all of it will have been for nothing. Saito pleaded with him to give up. It wasn’t happening. Sugawara said if that was the final answer from Anthony then so be it, but he wasn’t going to leave quietly. He was going to take some of Saito’s hair as a memento. He tried to take clippers to Saito’s head but Mori hit the ring. He demanded he stop. Sugawara asked him if him being in the ring meant he was ready to accept his challenge to a match. Mori again insisted that he is retired. Sugawara told him he wasn’t asking him to comeback full time. Just one match. During this special year. Dragon Gate’s 20th anniversary. Surely he can just do one match with Sugawara. If the answer is still no, then he was going to take Saito’s hair. Mori caved in and accepted. Sugawara admitted that he wasn’t going to really cut his hair. The clippers didn’t even have batteries in them. He rushed to decide a place and time before Mori backed out. Surely World would be acceptable? Mori declined. He will be busy at the box office on that day. If the good people of Korakuen Hall will forgive him for this transgression, he would like to do the match here next month on July 4th on one condition. This was one time only. He doesn’t want Sugawara back here looking for him in the 25th anniversary and 30th anniversary and so on. Sugawara accepted, but he did have one thing he neglected to mention. There was one other person who wanted to fight with Mori. A man nicknamed “The Strongest Man in Osaka”. He would be bringing him along.
Saito congratulated Sugawara on achieving his dream. He never expected Mori to agree. Anthony is going to need a partner and there is no better choice than himself. But there wasn’t just himself. There were others in the ring that would want to take part in this. Yoshino was his longtime partner in the Italian Connection so surely he will need to participate in this special event. Doi, after struggling to get a word in edgewise with Saito, also asked to be a part of the match. Anthony is a fellow Toryumon 5th year classmate, after all. In the end they agreed that all 3 will team with him in an 8 man tag. The other side was later revealed to be Sugawara, former Open the Dream Gate champion Magnitude Kishiwada who had a bitter feud with Anthony, YAMATO, and X. YAMATO asked to be in the match because he will be the one bringing in the mystery partner who he claims also has a connection with Anthony.

Backstage Jason challenged Susumu to a Brave Gate title match which was later set for June 9th in Hakata.

Eita & Ben-K had a confrontation after the main event. Eita told him he was no match for him. No one wanted to see him win. Everyone would rather see Eita win, because he is numero uno. He also has something he plans on announcing when he wins. Ben shouted that he would be the winner. Does Eita think he has forgotten about what R・E・D did to him? The one returning to Korakuen Hall next month as KOG winner will be Ben-K!

Yoshino interrupted. He apologized for interrupting Ben in his moment. He would say congratulations for winning, but he is still not over Ben betraying MaxiMuM last year. He was in the ring last month when Yoshino came out so he knows why he is here. If he doesn’t mind, could he leave the ring to him?

Everyone else also knows why he is here. He received a message from Toru Owashi a few days ago who said Ultimo Dragon had contacted him to say he was in Toronto. He is not in Japan. There’s been no other contact since then….
Suddenly the arena went dark and music played. This turned into Separados and brought Ultimo Dragon to the ring. Yoshino never thought it would happen. He thanked him for coming, but thought it would be better to say welcome back. He directly asked him to, for the 20th anniversary, compete on the biggest stage. At Kobe World Kinen Hall on July 21st.

Dragon explained he had heard everything from Owashi. Since then, he went to Mexico City, then New York City, Buffalo, Santa Maria, California, then back to Mexico City for his Dragomania show. After a stop in Cuba, he went to Toronto as Yoshino had heard. He had a lot of time to think about Yoshino’s message. He was planning on taking a day off before coming home from Canada, but he decided to take an overnight flight from Mexico City back to Japan so he could make it in time to be here tonight. Unfortunately, he still doesn’t have an answer for Yoshino. He thanked him for extending the offer and went for a handshake. Yoshino hesitated while the entire roster came to the ring. Doi told him that Yoshino wasn’t the only one who wanted him to come to Kobe. It was everyone. The origin of Dragon Gate is Toryumon. The origin of Toryumon is Ultimo Dragon. Please come to Kobe on July 21st.

YAMATO admitted he was really nervous. He reaffirmed that this was coming from the entire Dragon Gate roster. They all wanted to see him in the Dragon Gate ring.

Yoshino said it wasn’t just the roster. Even the freelancers that come to DG to compete are in the ring right now want to see Ultimo Dragon in Kobe on July 21st.

Dragon complimented Doi, saying he has gotten great in the time since he last saw him. As for YAMATO, while they have never met, he reads enough magazines to know who he is. The thing he wondered more than anything though, why was YASSHI here?? As for July 21st, for now, he will make plans to come and he will bring his ring gear with him.
