Hulk announced that Flamita would be returning to Japan next week. He told fans to look forward to what Tribe Vanguard will be able to do with him around.

Susumu attacked Kotoka after their match. He gave him a Yokosuka Cutter and Saito counted 3. Kotoka wasn’t phased by it. He beat Susumu & Big was about to beat Horiguchi. This might be a hometown show for that comedy loser Gamma, but this was Young MaxiMuMs’ time.

Horiguchi thanked the fans for helping him call on some divine intervention. These young kids have power and stamina. The Jimmyz are all over 35. They don’t have much power and stamina. They do have smarts and experience. Because of that, they can’t be beaten.

Gamma called out Young MaxiMuM after the main event. Who were they calling a comedy wrestler? Maybe they need to see the scarier side of Gamma to be reminded exactly who he was. He challenged for the Triangle Gate on behalf of Over Generation. Lindaman noted that Verserk already had the next title shot. Gamma had no idea. He was off yesterday and he doesn’t pay attention to what Lindaman does on his off days. Well. If it was already official announced, then he wanted to reserve the the next show. Lindaman did a lot of trash talking about the Old Comedy Generation or whatever he said. Lindaman said no such reservation system existed! Gamma was using his hometown advantage to create such a system. Along with Yamamura & Ishida, they would get whoever wins on 7/1. Lindaman thought it was bullshit, but wanted to prove they were better than Over Generation. Fine, they have their reservation. Shimizu shouted that MaxiMuM were the champion team. After they run over Verserk, they would be more than happy to crush Over Generation.

Young MaxiMuM attacked after the opener. Kotoka lamented the match quality, and mocked Eita for losing to the biggest jobber in the company after all the trash he talked in Hakata. Eita told him to mind his business. This match had nothing to do with them. Horiguchi was annoyed at having one of his rare wins ruined like this. Young MaxiMuM, Young Generation, whoever. The middle aged Jimmyz would make them pay for taking them lightly.

Kagetora continued his new strange habit of challenging people to Brave Gate title matches. This time it was Ishida. Even though he just came back from an injury and clearly wasn’t back up to speed, maybe a title match was what he needed to get back on track….

T-Hawk called out YAMATO. He demanded they set a time and place for their match. The match that would decide who was better: the king or the champion. There was only one place suitable. The main event of Kobe World on 7/23.

Not to Ben lost in the shuffle, Kzy put MaxiMuM and the other unit so on notice. If any of them wanted a target, they were welcome to try Tribe Vanguard.

Verserk ran down MaxiMuM for their lack of results. What a joke of a group these guys are! Especially that pig and gorilla from the so-called Young MaxiMuM. They weren’t fit to be champions. Verserk wanted their titles. Doi agreed. Both sides didn’t want to wait until World so the match was set for 7/1 in Osaka.

7. King of Gate 2017 Finals: T-Hawk (23:50 Night Ride) Naruki Doi

Young MaxiMuM came out after the opener. This time their attention was towards Yamamura & Ishida. Losing to a joke like Horiguchi? Pathetic. The Jimmyz & Over Generation were no match for Young MaxiMuM. Eita was amused. Young MaxiMuM? What exactly did they think they were capable of without Doi or Yoshino? They were going to find out in the semifinal tonight just how much of a match Over Generation is. Horiguchi appreciated their youthful enthusiasm, but he was the winner of this match. Yamamura should consider this payback for yesterday. As for Ben-K, he was going to have to answer to a very angry Susumu later today.

Kagetora took out Punch in short order. Verserk weren’t safe from the Jimmyz warpath. PT should be ashamed of himself for even showing up in this shape. It’s an embarrassment to the company. He was somehow still an eligible weight for the Brave Gate. So was his stablemate El Lindaman. He challenged both of them to come for his title. Kzy showed up and reminded Kagetora that he challenged Flamita yesterday. Kagetora was furious with Kzy. He said yesterday he would get in touch with Flamita, yet Flamita isn’t here today. What a liar! While Flamita was due back soon, it takes more time than 12 hours to get here. Kagetora became even more mad at him, and challenged HIM to come after the Brave Gate. There was clearly no reasoning with him in his current state, so Kzy just once more agreed to relay the message to Flamita when he arrives.

Shimizu & Kotoka interfered in the Susumu vs. Ben-K match. The other Jimmyz also got involved to cause a no contest. Susumu just had one thing to say to them. He was usually very professional, but they have pushed him past his breaking point.

Kzy celebrated his win. There was a lot of hot fighting going on right now between the other units. It may be hot, but Tribe Vanguard is the spiciest. Maybe it was time to blend some of that spice into the mix.

OG and MaxiMuM got into it again after their match. Eita told Kotoka he saw the power of a King of Gate semifinalist today. Who from Young MaxiMuM even did anything in the tournament? Shimizu? Kotoka and Yoshino weren’t in because of their injuries that they were now back from. Is Over Generation really proud of having some third rate comedy wrestler like Gamma represent them in such an important tournament? Gamma hit him in the head with the Singapore Cane. Who was he calling a comedy wrestler? It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, anyway. At least fans are entertained whenever Gamma is around. You can’t say that about Kotoka. As for King of Gate, he has won the whole damn thing in the past. The injury excuse? Gamma was injured on the exact same day as Kotoka and Yoshino but he made it into the tournament. Maybe he is just a third rate indy wrestler, but he isn’t dead weight like Kotoka.

T-Hawk wasted no time in calling out YAMATO. He also wasted no time in making his intentions clear. He won King of Gate. He is number one. He wanted a Dream Gate title match. YAMATO congratulated him on his win. However, while he won the tournament he didn’t beat YAMATO in doing so. Why should he get a title shot? T-Hawk persisted. Didn’t YAMATO want a final showdown between them to decide who is the real number one? YAMATO was fine being number two. T-Hawk was flustered and told YAMATO to just leave if he wasn’t going to be serious. YAMATO gave him the go2hospital 1. That was his real answer. Yes. T-Hawk is now the #1 contender. YAMATO was always ready and willing to defend his title against one of the new generation. Once again, congratulations on winning the tournament. Well fought. He will soon come to find that the Dream Gate title is something totally different. He still had plans for Dragon Gate and he can only accomplish them as champion. He wasn’t planning on handing the title over to someone who had no plans. They can decide the future like men. They can fight for it. T-Hawk promised to follow up this win today by becoming the top champion.

YAMATO somehow ended up closing out the show. He thanked the Hakata fans for coming out this weekend. He once again stated that King of Gate was tough, but the Dream Gate is on a different level. He promoted the 11/26 big show in Sendai. T-Hawk is going to be a tough opponent, but he wasn’t going to lose the title to him. When they return to Hakata in August, he would still be champion.

7. CIMA, Dragon Kid, Takehiro Yamamura{W} (18:32 Stardust Press) Jimmy Susumu, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!{L}, Ryo “Jimmy” Saito

Pairings for the King of Gate semi-finals were drawn at the top of the show. T-Hawk vs. Eita & Doi vs. Takagi were the match-ups. Eita just considered it another step on the way to the finals. T-Hawk told his old Millennials partner that they know each other really well. Eita thinks he does, at least. Not anymore. He is not the same T-Hawk. Takagi was happy to face off with Doi in Hakata. Doi has embarrassed him here before. Today it was his turn. He was going to just do what he does best. With Doi broken and out of the way, they would have an all Verserk final and prove once and for all they were the strongest unit. Doi played to the fans. Everyone knew he was better than Takagi. The fans would be totally behind him on his way to victory.

Kanda put Kotoka, Ben-K, & Shimizu on notice. They were no match for the experience the Jimmyz have.

Kagetora asked for some time after his win. He was Brave Gate champion. But the tournament he won it in was missing someone. Flamita didn’t participate. He didn’t feel as though he could really consider himself champion until he beats him. He asked Kzy to get in touch with him in Mexico and tell him he had a title shot waiting. Kzy was irritated at having to play messenger, but Flamita would be back soon. He would pass the message along.

Lindaman warned MaxiMuM that while they were distracted by the Jimmyz, Verserk were going to take their Triangle Gate titles.

Verserk and MaxiMuM got involved after the main event, leading to a huge brawl. Kotoka mocked Horiguchi for losing to Yamamura today. Losing to a green boy, doesn’t he feel degraded? Horiguchi reminded him that he got squashed by Kanda earlier. Yamamura wondered why they were out here at all. Kotoka should keep his name out of his mouth.
T-Hawk faced off with Doi. Was he ready for the finals? Was he ready to lose? Doi has been ready for the finals since the thing started. He is always ready. It really doesn’t matter who his opponent ended up being. It just happens to be T-Hawk. The last thing in his way. He wanted to win King of Gate and get back on top of Dragon Gate. Lindaman proclaimed T-Hawk as the winner of King of Gate, and Verserk as the strongest unit. Yoshino said that while the Jimmyz were the first target for MaxiMuM, they were aware of OG & Verserk. The punk kids need to fall back. By getting involved with MaxiMuM they were just putting targets on their own backs. Horiguchi admitted MaxiMuM & Over Generation had youth on their side. But youth is no match for experience. The Jimmyz are all over 35. They have been fighting together as a unit for 6 years. Wrestling isn’t just about youth and power. The Jimmyz will show that to all of them. CIMA had a lot to say, but most of it was said already. Just watching today, it was clear that the next generation was catching up with his. Even within his own unit. Yamamura was on the rise. Eita made the King of Gate semifinals. Ishida fought back from a serious injury. But CK-1 were still Twin Gate champions. Gamma was going to be Gamma doing Gamma things. Those are things no one else can do. This combination of youth and experience would leave Over Generation as the winners of any unit warfare.

Since CIMA would win C Block if he won today, Yoshida offered to lay down for him for 1,000,000 yen. CIMA considered the offer, and wondered if he had enough in his account to initiate the bank transfer. Yoshida said that the price was without tax. CIMA noted the slump Yoshida was on. Takashi Yoshida. His name was more boring than the Jimmyz names. The match started with no bribe paid. Yoshida aimed for a countout, and with ample help from Verserk he managed to pull it off. CIMA was eliminated from C Block, giving Naruki Doi the spot in the final four.

Takagi tried to persuade Lindaman to lay down for him. This was his last match, and if he wins he will have a high chance of reaching the final four. Lindaman was already eliminated. He should do the right thing for his leader. Lindaman complied, and laid down for him. Takagi covered, but was quickly rolled up in a small package for a surprising near fall.

Punch & Lindaman attacked Doi after his match. MaxiMuM were so focused on the Jimmyz that they have lost sight of the fact that as Triangle Gate champions, everyone was coming for their heads. Doi wasn’t really sure what this was all about. If Verserk wanted a title match they could have one, but not while King of Gate was going on. He was on top of Block C now. His fate would be decided by the result of CIMA vs. Yoshida next week in Kyushu. He isn’t optimistic, given the current state of Yoshida. But if he can do him that favor and beat CIMA, Doi advances to the final four.

Kotoka mocked the Jimmyz. Once again, they lost to the so-called weakest link. Horiguchi had nothing to say. He lost again and to make it worse he lost to his own hold. The Jimmyz were going to win this feud, and put an end to things once and for all.

Guests who attended this show were also treated to dinner, complete with waiter service from the Jimmyz & Over Generation. There was a bridal show in conjunction with a local bridal service where BxB Hulk & Masato Yoshino appeared in tuxedos with models. YAMATO was paired with Yosuke Santa Maria, who was wearing a stunning green wedding gown. She decided she wanted to get married then and there to one of the men involved in the bridal show. It was decided that during the wrestling portion of the entertainment, whichever one she could score a kiss on would have to propose to her.

Maria scored the kiss on YAMATO. Even though she lost the match, it was OK because she was going to get married! YAMATO made a run for it, but was stopped. Maria actually called out her real parents for the wedding. YAMATO resigned himself to his fate, and asked Mr. Watanabe for his daughters’ hand in marriage. They asked him to take care of their precious daughter. YAMATO then asked Maria to marry him. Maria gave him an even deeper kiss to signal her acceptance. YAMATO promised to work hard and provide for her. They were going to have a lot of kids, and maybe one of them would grow up to join Dragon Gate. They left to the Bridal March to begin their life together as man and wife.

Kotoka was gleeful in pointing out The Jimmyz just lost to who they claimed was the biggest pathetic weakling bottom feeding jobber. This proved that lazy and complacent old timers like the Jimmyz had no place left in Dragon Gate. Ben-K said in all his long hours training in the dojo, he has never seen a Jimmyz member there. Because of them, his contemporaries are blocked from the main cards. He will help them by taking the Jimmyz out entirely. Kanda was enraged by Ben-Ks sudden ability to say more than just his name and they started to get into it. Horiguchi said Ben-K sure can talk a big game. They might be strong, but they are wrong about the Jimmyz being lazy. They have been together for 6 years and have done nothing but fight to stay alive for those 6 years. Kotoka has spent most of his career getting injured and coming back, getting injured and coming back, getting injured and coming back, etc. He is in fact the weakest wrestler in Dragon Gate. Kotoka admitted that he has been injured a lot recently, but with how often Horiguchi loses, that makes him the weakest. After more arguing, the two sides agreed to settle things in all out war. Yoshino said that even though they only had 5 members to the Jimmyz 6, they would gladly fight under those terms. DoiYoshi was more than enough to make up the difference. Saito was livid over losing to that jobber Kotoka. He disagreed that MaxiMuM would have a chance under 6 on 5 rules with their 3 greenhorns. It would be more like 6 on 2. He said Kagetora would bow out, and it would be 5 on 5. Yoshino agreed, and proposed having the match under Naniwa Elimination Rules. GM Yagi set the match for the July Korakuen, but was adding one stipulation of his own. To decide who was the weakest link between Kotoka & Horiguchi, he was naming them as captains and adding Captains’ Fall rules to the match.

Susumu celebrated. He was still alive in King of Gate and was planning on going on to win the whole thing. As for MaxiMuM. They are all talk. They would see what the Jimmyz are made of.

As a time limit draw loomed, Takagi created a referee distraction that let him use a low blow to pin Hulk. As always, a complete and total triumph for Shingo Takgi. He paused for applause but received the usual boos. In a match like this, you do what you have to do to win. He did, and he won. Main events and live streams mean nothing to him. He just wanted to once again prove he was superior to Hulk. YAMATO was disgusted at him being so proud of a dirty win. Takagi was quick to point out that he was a paper champion that got squashed by Big R Shimizu earlier. YAMATO & BxB Hulk. The top 2 of Tribe Vanguard. Two losers. In fact, Tribe lost all their matches today. If this was all they were capable of, they should just go ahead and disband now. YAMATO pointed out that no one was buying any Verzerk merchandise. They were essentially Shingo Takagi and A, B, C. They had no room to talk about accomplishments as a unit. T-Hawk took great exception. He pointed out that aside from YAMATO, no one in Tribe Vanguard has accomplished a damn thing. If anything, the two units were even. YAMATO said that as long as he is Dream Gate champion, they would be anything but even. T-Hawk brought up him getting destroyed by Shimizu but YAMATO brought up that T-Hawk also lost today. Hulk asked Takagi if he really was satisfied with taking shortcuts and fighting like a coward. After more arguing and fighting, GM Yagi intervened. He set up a YAMATO & Hulk vs. Takagi & T-Hawk tag match for the July Korakuen. Takagi was pleased with that idea. Even though they now looking to next month, he demanded no one forget this month and the Shingo Takagi main event victory. Another main event. He has been in how many in a row now? Not YAMATO, not Doi or Yoshino. He was the main event. He was going to win King of Gate and get Dragon Gate back onto his path.

Hulk closed out the show reminding everyone how much he hates Shingo Takagi.

DoiYoshi stood tall over RyoSuka. They talked all that trash yesterday, but they were the ones on the mat now. Did they have anything to say now? Listen up, and listen carefully. MaxiMuM is not just DoiYoshi. Shimizu, Ben, & Kotoka were just as formidable. Jimmyz, Tribe, Verserk. It doesn’t matter. MaxiMuM were the new top unit. Anyone who wants to challenge that can come and try.

Hulk asked the fans to come back again in December, then ripped off YAMATOs’ catchphrase to end the weekend.

Takagi responded to what Hulk said yesterday. He was appalled to look at the standings and find he had 0 points while that bitch Hulk had 6. They have a match coming up. It shouldn’t be the main event. It can happen during intermission, that is all the time he will need to beat him. Why does the company coddle Hulk so much? It was time to cut bait on him. He is a bottom of the card wrestler. Period. He would prove it to the world in Korakuen on 6/1. He is not going to try and have a great match or win any best match polls. He was going to destroy Hulk and take his 2 points.

Lindaman interfered heavily to help the injured T-Hawk secure the count out win. He received a Gamma Special after the match for his trouble.

The loss to Yamamura forced CIMA into contemplation mode. He thought maybe it would be better to just rest up until his knee was 100%. But he didn’t want to give up. Back in Osaka he said he was going to try for the Dream Gate. He had to use the Japanese Ocean Cyclone to beat Doi. He had to use the Jorge Clutch against Kagetora. Today, he had to dust off the Schweinsteiner for the first time in a long time. Who knows what he will have to use against Cyber in his last match. Whatever it was, he was going to celebrate the end of his 30s with another World main event.

Verserk came out after the main event and a brawl broke out. T-Hawk told MaxiMuM and the Jimmyz this had nothing to do with them. He was here for Tribe Vanguard. He was here for Kzy & Hulk. They come home to all this support and have a boring match like this? That is fine. It is Tribe vs. Verserk tomorrow. They were going to get embarrassed in their hometown. It was pointed out that T-Hawk is also from Hokkaido. Kzy admitted he had more momentum than anyone right now. That ends tomorrow. Kzy is going to pin him and secure a happy ending to this trip home.

Saito said the Jimmyz had no connection to Hokkaido but they were going to talk anyway. MaxiMuM. They came to Hokkaido for the first time and stunk up the place. Two main events, two losses. There was just nothing good to say about them. Tomorrow, it was DoiYoshi vs. RyoSuka. Everyone knows DoiYoshi is all MaxiMuM have. If they lose tomorrow they should consider just breaking up the unit now to save themselves more loss. Doi said they sure talk big, but he saw Jimmyz members lose King of Gate matches today. Tomorrow is the first DoiYoshi tag match since they started MaxiMuM. The Jimmyz were going to regret opening their mouths.

YAMATO did his catchphrase to close the show after all this.

Hulk was now 3-0 in league play. 6 points. His next match was in Korakuen Hall on 6/1 against that no good Shingo Takagi. No one likes that guy, but he really really hates him. He is a deplorable bastard with no morals or sense of decency. He would use the power of Sapporo to beat him.

After the Doi/Saito match, Horiguchi told MaxiMuM that this feud wasn’t finished. This match was a draw, but they would be facing off in the main event, too. Yoshino said the Jimmyz were their first target. They were going to regret that decision. Aside from DoiYoshi they have nothing, and they know it. They are no match for the Jimmyz. Yoshino said they sure talked a big game. Can they back it up? Yes. MaxiMuM are new to the scene and haven’t accomplished much yet, but he didn’t come back from his injury to not make a big impact. Horiguchi has had his bones broken by Ben-K before. He is going to feel that pain again.

The two units also brawled after the main event. Horiguchi shoved down Ben-K, and Shimizu argued with Horiguchi. After things calmed down, the Jimmyz closed with a Jimmyz Train.

The Jimmyz provoked MaxiMuM after the opener. The thing about greenboys is they think they can brute force their way through anything. The Jimmyz know how to deal with that and won’t run from any fight they want to pick. Bring it. The two units also brawled after the Susumu/Kzy match. Kzy also refused a handshake from Susumu.

Fujii was surprised with a bouquet from his mother in celebration of his 20th anniversary.

CIMA spoke for a long time after the main event. He said that when people say this card published, pretty much everyone assumed that Doi was going to win. He is the hottest guy in the company right now, after all. But Dragon Gate is a fantasy based on reality and something fantastic happened today. He digressed to congratulate Ishida on his return. He admitted that he has been feeling a certain way since around Thursday of last week. He has more experience than anyone in main events and title matches. That means nothing right now, though. YAMATO is champion. The same YAMATO that lost today to CIMAs’ classmate Don Fujii. Fujii received surprised flowers from his mother and it motivated him to a win. That ignited a spark in him. He wants to do well for his own mother who has taken care of him and watched over him. He wants to make her proud. His body hurts. Doing this style for 20 years isn’t easy. Wrestling isn’t easy. It can be fun, it can suck. You win, you lose. CIMA is planning on winning King of Gate. It has been awhile since he stood in the main event at Kobe World Hall. He was aiming for nothing less this year.

The Jimmyz came out after the main event to confront MaxiMuM. This joke of a unit they have made has the audacity to say the Jimmyz were their first target? Laughable. They will never win anything as long as they have baggage like Kotoka.
T-Hawk was annoyed that they were out here. Verserk won the match, after all. They should be getting the post-match spotlight. Saito said that at this time they had no particular beef with Verserk. But, everyone knows they can`t close out the show. The Jimmyz were just giving them a good excuse to leave without embarrassing themselves. T-Hawk said they had no interest in watching these two groups fight, so they would leave.
Doi once again blamed the Jimmyz for costing him his Dream Gate opportunity in Aichi. It is all their fault that he is not champion right now. They are going to talk bad about Kotoka? How long have they been together now? 7 years? Whatever it is, it is too long. They haven`t progressed or done anything in those 7 years. They just play with rubber bands and stuff.
This raised Kagetoras` ire. There is nothing MaxiMuM about this unit. DoiYoshi were fine, but the rest? Useless. They want to come at the Jimmyz? They will be shown first hand what the Jimmyz can do. Next month, here in Sambo Hall, Kagetora will be going 1 on 1 with Doi in a King of Gate league match. He is as good as he has ever been right now, and he knows he is good enough to beat Doi. He had one thing left to say to them. The Jimmyz were going to beat them at every turn and make them regret ever picking this fight.

Doi said even though they lost to Verserk today, they won`t lose to the Jimmyz again. In fact, they won yesterday in Yamanashi! Kagetora better train hard for their match on 6/4. Speaking of training; Kotoka ran 3km today in 11:15. No one in the Jimmyz could run 3km in that time! Fans were puzzled, so Doi assured them this was a really fast time. The fastest time. Doi & Yoshino shared some banter about how even though they will be 37 this year, they still feel like they are 27. Being around Kotoka, Ben, & Big has made them younger by osmosis. Yoshino closed out the show. He was seriously injured in this very building 4 months ago, but he is standing here now. He will keep getting stronger and faster. In fact, all of them will. They may have lost today, but the next time MaxiMuM comes to Kobe it will be all wins.
