YAMATO & Takagi shared a handshake & hug after their match.

Shimizu had his ringname changed once more, from Kankichi to Ryotsu. It is essentially the same thing, as the manga character he is patterned after is named Kankichi Ryotsu.

Uhaa kept up the assault on Shimizu after the match, prompting a save by Kotoka. They challenged Uhaa to a handicap match for the 6/8 Kobe show. Uhaa asked him if they were crazy, and insisted that it would certainly be, as most things are for Nation, “Too Easy”. The match was set. Shimizu agreed to crush Uhaa with “Nakagawa”. This was a reference to Keiichi Nakagawa, another character from the same manga as his namesake.

K-ness & Gamma brawled to the back after their match.

CIMA came out after the finals to congratulate his former Spiked Mohicans partner. After some talk, they agreed to a title match. Ricochet thanked his WORLD-1 teammates for their support. He told Swann that soon they would be champions together. Yoshino helped out with the closing speech to end the show.

Nation provoked Kankichi Shimizu after the opener. They had a stare down in the ring, before Shimizu took him down with his powerful football tackle. They were quickly separated.

Takagi accidentally hit YAMATO with the Pumping Bomber, leading to Tominaga stealing the win. YAMATO smashed Tommy with a chair, before instigating an argument afterwards with Takagi. He implied that Takagi did it on purpose. Takagi told him to calm down. When you team together as long as they have, accidents are bound to happen. YAMATO said that losing to a total loser like Tommy would bring eternal shame to the Onodera family. YAMATO stormed off by himself. The remaining -akatsuki- members reaffirmed their loyalty to one another, while insisting that YAMATO just lost his temper a bit.

Mochizuki celebrated his 2500th match today. He started his road to 3000 by challenging TakaYAMA to a rematch from their Twin Gate match from last September.

CIMA called out Gamma after match 4. They announced that he would be returning from his injury in Osaka on 5/25. Gamma insisted that K-ness be involved in the match in some way, since their careers have run parellel. It could be a singles match.

Swann challenged Yoshino for a Brave Gate shot.

The KneSuka Liner is a World Liner followed up with the Hikari no Wa.

He followed with a rapid fire series of small package attempts until he finally handed Nation his first loss in the DG ring. After the match Susumu admitted he had no idea how he did it, and was fully expecting to lose. He told Shimizu to prepare himself for a large uphill battle in his debut match. Shimizu said he would fight as hard as he can, and use his powerful football tackle to win.

After his loss, Kotoka was approached by CIMA in the entryway. Kotoka later said that there was some sort of opportunity on the table. Perhaps an excursion.

Takagi vs. Hulk had heavy interference from Problem Dragon & YAMATO. In the end, a YAMATO dropkick lead directly to the Pumping Bomber that ended it. Hulk was pissed at YAMATO not minding his own business. YAMATO reminded him that Problem Dragon was interfering first. They agreed to meet in a singles match at the June Korakuen.

Uhaa got into it with CIMA after the main. He wanted a title shot. CIMA declined, saying he was preparing the next shot for the winner of King of Gate. He offered him a non title match at the June Korakuen. This ended up being blocked by Takagi, who demanded a match with Nation. That match ended up being the one that was made.

Doi came out at this point. He said he has grown to hate K-ness. Seeking to avenge the loss from last month in Sambo, he asked for a rematch with K-ness. K-ness said no. He did say he would accept a Triangle Gate match. Doi, just eager to fight K-ness again, agreed. K-neSuka tried to recruit CIMA again, but he declined, citing his monthly Dream Gate load. Mochizuki suddenly stepped up and agreed to team with them. The match was set for next month. It will feature a full M2K revival with new kickboards, new ring costumes, and new yokosuka jumper jackets!
