☆4th Defense for WORLD-1 International

After match two, Tozawa & Problem Dragon ran down the city of Osaka. Tozawa talked about his upcoming match with CIMA. Kzy turned to Yagi and demanded a match for World. Fans booed. He said he would team with Problem Dragon and would face any challenge. Fans booed. Stalkers’ music began playing but quickly changed to a Wild Thing arrangement version. Stalker came out, and was speaking in a manner similar to Atsushi Onita. Indeed, he would be teaming with Mr. Onita to face Problem Dragon & Kzy at World! He finished by throwing water all over the place.

-akatsuki- celebrated their complete sweep of the Twin Gate skirmishes. Takagi went as far as to say himself or YAMATO could be replaced by Tommy or Shenlong and they would still be too strong for the Jimmys. Both sides promised to win in Kobe.

After the semi-final, CIMA spoke. First he asked Ricochet & DK to have a clean fight in their upcoming match. Then he brought up Magnitude Kishiwada. Last time around in Osaka, CIMA promised himself, Gamma, & Kishiwada would team up. Kishiwadas’ schedule made it impossible today. However, he is free on the 11th when they do their even for Kansai TV in Osaka. So, the all Osaka native trio will rage there.

The MB team from the opener came out after the main. Naturally, they challenged for the Triangle Gate. Mocchy blocked it, saying they had already been promised the next title shot back in Kyoto. Yoshino told him that he used that up yesterday and couldn’t just get another title match. He accepted the MB challenge. After some more prodding by Mocchy, Yoshino continued his take on all comers stance and agreed to a 3 way for World. Yoshino then passed off closing speech duties on the Jimmys.

Horiguchi began to do so, but Naoki Tanizaki invaded again. He gave essentially the same speech as yesterday, but then produced a pair of eye glasses. He asked to join the Jimmys! He asked Horiguchi if he was just pretending to not know him yesterday. Horiguchi again asked him who he was. As did Kanda. As did Susumu. However, Kagetora remembered him. He asked him to go drinking with him. The others finally let on that they were just messing with Tanizaki. They remembered him. Thus, Naoki Tanizaki has joined the Jimmys.

☆3rd Defense for WORLD-1 International

The Veteran Army main event team came out for the opening MC. Mochizuki had promised he had something planned for today, and he got to it quickly. He called out W1i to come out. Yoshino said they were still unpacking their suitcases, why did Mochizuki want them out here so early. Mocchy challenged them to make the main event a title match. Yoshino blew it off, saying the match was already the gobaaaan anniversary celebration. They have t-shirts for it and everything. Further, there was already a title match scheduled for tomorrow. It would be irresponsible to jeopardize that. Mocchy had a solution for that. His team was booked in the opener tomorrow. If they win the titles today, they can just swap places. Yoshino finally polled the crowd to see if they wanted to see a title match. Naturally, Kyoto decided that they did. The main event would be for the Triangle Gate.

CIMA ran down Tozawa after the semi-final. He hoped he didn’t have another Cyber Kong level match on his hands. CIMA reminded him of the tough challenge ahead and such until Tozawa finally heard enough and gave him a Bicycle Kick. He yelled and kept Bicycle Kicking him until the real Naoki Tanizaki made a shocking return to help run off MB!

Tanizaki greeted the fans, and told them he was finally done with the rehab on his shoulder injury. The DG situation has changed considerably since he left. Blood Warriors were gone, JUNCTION THREE were gone. He wasn’t quite sure what to do, but this seemed like a good time to come out. He turned to Horiguchi and extended his hand for a handshake. Horiguchi took one look at him, and asked who he was. Everyone left him in the ring. The rookies on ring boy duty also treated him like a fake and ignored him.

Mocchy and Doi continued arguing after the main. The Jimmys came out. Saito said Mochizuki disrespected the Jimmys by circumventing their #1 contender status by demanding a hurried title match. Mocchy reminded Saito he did the same thing for the Dream Gate back in November. Saito blew that off and promised the Jimmys would be the champion team by Kobe World.

WORLD-1 closed the show with the usual speech.

-Tozawa (23:33 Package German Suplex Hold) YAMATO

Ricochet affirmed his Brave Gate challenge to DK after the opener. They set the time and place for the match. Kobe World Hall on 7/22.

Problem Dragon attempted to throw salt at everyone after match 3. Horiguchi ended up making the save. After a long argument that mostly involved insults, a CIMA & Horiguchi vs. Problem Dragon & X tag match was set for the near future.

Mochizuki, Fujii, & Gamma demanded the Jimmys drop their Triangle Gate shot. Naturally, the Jimmys refused. Mocchy warned them that something was going to go down in Kyoto next weekend.

Tozawa won the match without MB help, silencing a recent criticism that had been coming his way. YAMATO actually gave him some small praise for this, and reminded him of the challenge that waited for him Kobe World Hall. Tozawa responded with a Bicycle Kick. He promised to take the Dream Gate.

The Jimmys came out afterwards. Susumu nominated Takagi & YAMATO to be the next Twin Gate challengers. Takagi initially refused to give answer, saying he wanted to make sure all 4 members of -akatsuki- were progressing. Susumu pressed him further, and he caved in. This match will also take place at Kobe World.

Yoshino, perhaps feeling inspired, got ahead of himself and began to talk about the Triangle Gate match for World. Saito reminded him that there was still a title match before that. A match that the Jimmys were going to win. Mochizuki then reminded Saito about their conversation from earlier. Yoshino said he would accept the challenge from Mocchy & Co as soon as they could.

CIMA closed out the show, talking about the generation gap between himself & Tozawa, and promising to have a fierce fight at Kobe World.

☆CIMA succeeds in his 4th Defense

CIMA & Horiguchi had their contract signing for the main event. Horiguchi admitted he would need the support from everyone in Hakata to aid his win. CIMA said that his entire 15 year story would be on display.

A Larry Dallas distraction directly lead to Problem Dragon cradling Swann for the win.

Ricochet asked for a Brave Gate rematch. Yoshino translated the request to DK, who gladly accepted.

CIMA gave a speech talking about the 15 year history between himself and Horiguchi. He talked about the one year age difference, their times in Mexico, and growing up together. Horiguchi returned the gratitude, and they shared a hug.

This brought out MAD BLANKEY. Problem Dragon chastised them for holding a sham title match, since he was the rightful #1 contender. CIMA basically blew him off. He asked Tozawa & Hulk to stay, but told them to get rid of their worthless teammates. Then he called out Doi, Yoshino, Takagi, & YAMATO. He told Doi, Yoshino, & YAMATO that although they held the Dream in the past, CIMA was now the champion. He praised Hulk for his kicks. He told Tozawa that he was once exceptionally bad, but then he went to America and gained much experience. He recalled being chokes out by YAMATO several years ago. He praised Takagi for his lariats & his karaoke(…). He praised Doi for his record setting Dream Gate reign, and called the Muscular Bomb a car accident level hold. Finally, he recalled Yoshinos’ title reign from 2010 & 2011. He said these 6 would be in the next CIMA Royale, with the winner getting their title shot at Kobe World.

Saito was still hanging around. Stimulated by his unit regaining the Twin Gate and the hot Dream Gate fighting, he challenged Yoshino for the Triangle Gate. The Jimmys team will be Saito, Kanda, & Horiguchi. Yoshino accepted, of course.

CIMA closed out the show with the standard celebratory speech of gratitude.

W1i opened the show. Yoshino halfheartedly apologized for having to subject Hakata to a Problem Dragon match. Then they talked about this weeks issue of Shukan Pro Wrestling, which has a big picture of the kissing scene from Korakuen. Hakata tried to get them to kiss again, but they went right to the match.

MB came out after the opener. Tanisaki went after Kagetora with chops. They argued over the Triangle Gate match, Problem Dragon said he had no attention of delivering a good match, and would bathe it in salt. After yet another intrusion on match three, Tozawa said it was just an example of what to expect later.

CIMA & Horiguchi traded their final promises of victory for their Dream Gate match tomorrow.

W1i celebrated their win, while MB continued to loiter about the ring. Doi thanked Problem Dragon for his work today, and told him to get the hell out of there. They finished celebrating by making jokes about Doi showing off his ass again.

MAD BLANKEY came out after the opener. Tozawa complained about how boring the old timers match was, and ran down Hokkaido. He turned his attention to CHAMPION GATE. He had a message from Problem Dragon, who was safely resting back in Kobe. Since there is no Triangle Gate contender yet, Tozawa, Problem Dragon, & Cyber Kong were challenging. Yoshino replied that MB really had the worst claim to the challenge after Korakuen. He further said that aside from Tozawa & Hulk, MB were essentially worthless. Tozawa replied that he didn’t give an answer yet. Yoshino said that his other members weren’t even invited to the Hokkaido tour. Kong was a bottom feeder. Kimata wasn’t invited because no one in Hokkaido even knew who he was. Still, even though the team had no challenger qualifications, his team ducked no one. They could have their title shot at CHAMPION GATE. W1i left after this. Tanisaki called out the Jimmys for a war of words ahead of the main event Twin Gate.

MB continued their attack on Shisa after match two. DK made the save, and helped run them off. He said he wanted Shisa in peak condition for their match. They shared a handshake.

The KoC finals had to go an extra 5 chops, since fans were split after the first 10. Kagetora pulled the upset, beating Tanisaki in his hometown. He advances to the KING OF CHOP Grand Championship later this year.

Susumu asked for an immediate rematch. GM Yagi said he understood how he felt, but the next Twin match was promised to the Windows duo in Hakata. He couldn’t just take it from them. However, Yagi said he would consider making it into a 3 way if the fans & the new champions agreed. The fans were into the idea, while Tanisaki basically said he didn’t care either way. So, the match was changed to a 3 way tag. Tozawa threw salt all over the place while the fans booed. MB then left. This left the Jimmys to apologize for losing and close out the show.

Kid seemed a bit flustered by Shisa winning, continuing the Shisa Boom streak from the pin on CIMA in Korakuen. He said he would be in peak condition by 6/16, so Shisa better be prepared. Shisa said he was already in peak form, and the Yoshitonic would bring him the title next week.

Tanisaki celebrated his hometown win, and promised to do the same in the Twin Gate match tomorrow. The Jimmys came out for a war of words. MB left the Jimmys to close out things.

☆W1i succeed in their 1st Defense

-akatsuki- & MAD BLANKEY faced off in the usual arm wrestling contest to decide the man advantage for the elimination match. It was Takagi vs. Kong. Kong continued his slump, losing for the first time ever.

Tanisaki challenged Takagi next. If Takagi won, the match would be named to the Takagi Style Elimination Match. Tanisaki won. But, he decided that he would take the man advantage instead, Takagi could have the match name, since Kong no longer deserves it. Then he beat YAMATO, which allowed him to make the match into a 5 vs. 4 handicap match, with Problem Dragon added. Kong was taken out of the match, in favor of Tanisaki. Kong would take his place vs. Kagetora.

Kagetora lamented Kong and his pitiful state. He invited him out drinking to talk over his sorrow.

Kotoka arrived in a Windows t-shirt, and asked if he could join. He didn’t get an answer. When Team Veteran came out, he decided to ask them. They denied him, so he reverted his allegiance to Windows. They didn’t really confirm or deny him membership, but he seconded them later and continued to wear the shirt.

There was a big argument between the Jimmys, W1i, -akatsuki-, & Team Veteran after the main. Horiguchi took particular issue with Tominaga and his receding hairline. He called him out for HAGE gimmick infringement. A four way 6 man tag was decided for Korakuen next month.

MB came out here. Mochizuki immediately dismissed them, saying aside from Tozawa & Hulk they were pretty useless. He mocked Kong, and asked him if he wanted to learn pro wrestling from scratch again. Problem Dragon began to talk but Team Veteran ignored him and left.

Kagetora confronted Tanisaki about arbitrarily changing their scheduled match today. They re-scheduled it for next month. Problem Dragon began to talk but the Jimmys ignored him and left.

Kimata finally got the attention of CIMA, who was up in the balcony doing commentary. He questioned his favoritism towards Horiguchi in winning the #1 contendership. He asked CIMA if he was scared. CIMA said yes, he was scared. Scared of Kimata being anywhere near the Dream Gate. Further arguing lead to them making a Mask vs. Passport match for next month. Kimata wasn’t pleased with the idea, but accepted if it was a handicap match. His partner wasn’t identified, but it may be Tozawa. CIMA will have to surrender his passport if he loses. This wouldn’t be the first time. He lost it to TAKA Michinoku back in 2005, and had quite an ordeal getting it back.

A Windows vs. MB tag was also set for next month, rounding out the match making portion of the show.

W1i were left to close the show out, as has become customary. As usual things got out of hand. Swann continued his coming out party from the DDG show, and gave deep kisses to the other members.
